Frequently asked questions

The courses are much shorter and less expensive than those offered by other organisations, does this mean that quality is compromised?

No. We use high quality training materials designed to explain key concepts clearly, concisely, and effectively. We are PhD qualified professionals with many years experience of training in psychological testing. And our specially developed assessment materials enable us to quickly and efficiently evaluate people's understanding of key learning points.

 

Who can attend the courses ?

The courses are open to anyone wishing to use psychological tests.

 

Are the courses residential ?

The courses are non-residential.

 

Is preparatory work required for the courses ?

Yes. Part of the course takes the form of written materials and exercises to be completed in advance of the training weekend. All materials are designed to be very user friendly and easy to work through.

 

How long will it take me to do the preparatory work ?

On average, people take eight hours to complete the preparatory work.

 

When will I receive the preparatory materials ?

The preparatory material will be sent to you immediately after you pay for the course.

 

Is any post-course work required ?

Yes. The post course work typically takes about eight hours.

 

Are there a limited number of places on the course ?

Yes, there are a limited number of places, and these will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

What do I do next if I want to reserve a place on a course ?

To reserve a place click on 'Book a place' on the menu on the left and follow the instructions.

 

When is the latest date I can reserve a place on the course ?

In principle we will accept reservations up until three weeks before the course starts. However, there are a limited number of places on each course, and once a course is full no further reservations are accepted. You are therefore strongly advised to reserve your place as soon as possible.

 

How can I pay for the course ?

When you book a place we will send an invoice to your email address. You should then send us a cheque. Details of who and where to send the cheque to are shown on the invoice. This cheque must be sent no later than 21 days before the course starts.

 

How will I know where to send my payment ?

When you provisionally reserve a place on the course we will immediately send you an invoice with payment details.

 

Will I receive a receipt after I have paid ?

Yes. When we receive your payment we will send a receipt to your email address.

 

What if the organisation I work for is prepared to pay for the training ?

When you book a place on the course you can indicate that you would prefer the invoice to be made out to the organisation you work for. When you receive the invoice from us, you can forward it to the appropriate person in your organisation.

 

What if I decide to cancel my place on the course? Will I be entitled to a refund ?

If you cancel your place on the course more than 21 days before it is due to begin, we will fully refund all payments that you have made. However, no refunds will normally be made for cancellations received less than 21 days before the course starts.
